SIMMO TRIES AGAIN

The last message I received from anybody out there was from a contemptuous, markedly more inpsired fellow blogger, who pointed out that I had not posted anything since um.....May. This stirred me to at least get online and delete the stale fruit and mouldy bread on offer for the past six months. If anyone really wants to hear my views on William Leith, buying street food in Monrovia and the death of Alan Ball, it's all probably gone into some blogspot archive.

Why so little? I can plead: pressure of work, worries about blogging being incomaptible with professional status, loss of inspiration. I suspect I am not alone in running of out gas fairly early on. Then there are the competing attractions of Skype and Facebook, all much more breezy and bite-sized.

So is this a relaunch? Or will I put together one or two half-assed vignettes and retreat again? I shall endeavour to come up with at least something.

Hippo, I hear you....I shall do better

Lately, I am just as bad. Two months since the last post and then only a quick bunch of old photos. It took a knock on the head but I am writing again.

So Simmo, let's see who posts first!

When you relax and just write, you are brilliant.
